"This is what the Lord says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, and ask where the good way is, and walk in it. You will find rest for your soul."

this memorial day weekend - a special tribute program "on a wing and a prayer"
Each year more and more of our WWII Veterans are dying…soon they will all be gone. So, I continue to tell as many of their stories while they are still with us so that we will never forget their amazing sacrifice given for our safety and freedom. We owe our veterans so very much. Finally, I have a heart-stirring interview with one of our brave soldiers serving in Iraq right now. You will from him what is going on now in the battle against terror, and what we can do to help them during this difficult and dangerous time. Remember Our Troops And Pray For Their Safe Return! To find a radio station near you, click on "Radio" at the top of our home page. Then look at the list of stations and find the station in your city. If your city is not listed, contact your local station and ask them to air our holiday programs.

On this special program you will hear the story of Joe Moser, a P-38 fighter pilot who was shot down while flying a mission over France. He almost died in the crash, but he lived only to be captured by the German army and taken to a Nazi concentration camp. In that concentration camp Joe saw so much suffering. He continued to be moved from camp to camp until, finally, they were liberated. You’ll hear Joe’s story from his crash to his liberation.
1st Lieutenant Bernard Bail was a radar navigator on a B-29 bomber. You’ll hear the amazing story of the mission that won him a medal for his unbelievable courage. Their plane was hit and going down, but it still had a live bomb on board. Bernard Bail stayed on the plane until the last moment to help save the commanding pilot’s life.
Then there’s the story of President George Bush, a WWII pilot. You’ll hear from his own words just what happened the day his fighter plane was shot down.
