"What He Got Was A Bullet"
By Jerry Stewart - Vision Productions On November the 22nd, 1963, a U.S. President came to my town expecting some good old Southern hospitality. But, what he got was something quite different.
On the morning of November the 22nd, 1963, President John F. Kennedy came to my town of Fort Worth, Texas. He spoke that morning at the Texas Hotel and then made his way to Dallas for a warm, Southern, welcome.
It was a beautiful day, the people were friendly, so the bulletproof top was taken off the limousine for all to see the president and his wife.
But, there was someone there waiting, at least one someone, Lee Harvey Oswald, waiting on the sixth floor of the School Book Depository Building and he shot John Kennedy dead. It was truly a sad day in America.
