 Not long after the September 11th terrorist attacks, as the New York City firefighters and rescue workers were working to remove the masses of steel and concrete from the World Trade Center site, it was finally decided they must bring in heavy equipment, cranes and bulldozers, and massive portions of the two crashed buildings began to be removed.
